And who is supposed to do the trick with charges against children who don’t have “popular” surnames?!

In this specific case, according to the confession of the professor Frchkoski, who had been a functionary for many years, it turns out that some people have been (are) “more equal” than others. And what the children without “popular” names and surnames are supposed to do?

If twenty years ago leading political persons in this country had been closing their eyes in front of the felonies of the “former minister’s son”, now there is no room for being stunned by somebody’s mystification and role in the creation of the “family’s” cult, and we should be even less dazzled by the demolition of the institutions and the legal order’s failure.

The former Minister of Interior, Ljubomir D. Frchkoski, for Telma TV station stated his regret because back in the day he did not let the pressing of two charges against the former director of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence, Sasho Mijalkov, and he did so due to the respect he has had toward Sasho Mijalkov’s father, Jordan Mijalkov, who was his colleague in the first technical government (led by Nikola Kljusev) and who lost his life in a traffic accident in Serbia.

I remember one case. The investigator pointed out to me that the person Sasho Mijalkov had been detained after he had demolished a night club with his SUV and had participated in a fight. I did not know him, but I was told that he is the son of the late Minister of Interior Jordan Mijalkov, and due to the respect I have for his father, I didn’t let pressing of charge. There was one more case in which the young Mijalkov broke the law, but he did not receive a charge. The crimes of Sasho Mijalkov during my mandate as a Minister were these – the former Minister of Interior, Ljubomir Frchkoski, said for Telma TV station.

EXPLANATION:

We consider the statement of the former Minister of Interior, in which he says that the former chief of the secret police, Sasho Mijalkov, had been detained and interrogated because of perpetrated felonies in the 90s, but he had been turning a blind eye to him because he is the son of the late Minister of Interior, Jordan Mijalkov, as incorrect and inconsistent, because it is given by one of the creators of the Constitution, which defines that all laws are equal for all citizens.

The highest legal act in the country, more precisely the second chapter titled: “BASIC FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND CITIZEN”, Article 9 says:

Citizens of the Republic of Macedonia are equal in their freedoms and rights, regardless of sex, race, colour of skin, national and social origin, political and religious beliefs, property and social status. All citizens are equal before the Constitution and law.

But, in this specific case, according to the confession of the professor Frchkoski, who had been a functionary for many years, it turns out that some people have been (are) “more equal” than others. And what the children without “popular” names and surnames are supposed to do? To have confidence in the institutions or to come to terms with the fact that nobody will do the trick with their charges?!

And, If twenty years ago, leading political persons in this country had been closing their eyes in front of the felonies of the “former minister’s son”, now there is no room for being stunned by somebody’s mystification and role in the creation of the “family’s” cult, and we should be even less dazzled by the demolition of institutions and the legal order’s failure.
