A Facebook post spreads disinformation that fake police officers wanted to rob a house in the municipality of Ilinden. Such allegations are not correct, and this can be seen from the official bulletin of the Ministry of Interior, which describes the case.

The post conveys a news item titled: “Drama in Ilinden: Fake police officers wanted to rob a house, and one of them was stabbed.”

After entering, they attacked the hosts.

The robbers broke the grandmother’s nose, and her son and grandson were beaten. However, the nephew managed to take a knife and stab one of the thieves, the news says.

But just below this, the news is denied and information about the incident written in the bulletin of the Ministry of Interior is published. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Interior, these were not robbers and thieves disguised as fake police officers who wanted to rob the house, but the attack occurred due to the alleged debt of the family to the attackers. It is not mentioned that the attackers disguised as fake police officers and rang the doorbell, but it is written that they forcibly entered the home of the attacked. So, the bulletin of the Ministry of Interior does not mention fake police officers and attempted theft.
