Ukraine is not a “neo-Nazi” state

The post abounds in insults and antagonistic narrative against the West and Ukraine and its political leadership. The Ukrainian government is not fascist, nor dictatorial, or in any way connected to the Nazi past. President Volodymyr Zelensky was democratically elected in fair elections, receiving 73 percent of the vote in the 2019 presidential elections. Ukraine banned the promotion of Nazism in 2015. The claim implying Ukraine is fighting for Donbas to generate money to return to Western supporters is not true, it is doing so in order to reclaim its territorial integrity

We analyze a Facebook post stating the following:

Why do the Kyiv neo-Nazis want to reclaim Donbas so much, when it is a completely strange place to them? – Dmitry Medvedev

Why are they so exasperatingly supported in this endeavor by all the rabid animals guarding the Western world today: from Biden’s half-dead dog to the insignificant homunculi standing on the stinking bed in the so-called Baltic states? The reason is trivial: money is needed. Robbery or “love”, in other words. Zelensky’s criminal clique, which has stolen so much and brought the country’s dying economy to disaster, will still have to pay bills to the sponsors of this bloodshed, as well as to the sponsors themselves, who parasitize the decaying body of Ukraine. The latter have spent a lot on foreign war and this annoys the people of their countries. Therefore, some kind of payback is needed. The issue is not the sick boy with the dirty green T-shirt who is on cocaine. This child will soon be gone, but the debt will remain. And it must be paid with interest. However, the empty coffers of the neo-Nazi state will not fill themselves. His patrons understand this thoroughly. Their goal is in no way to benefit the unfortunate Ukrainian people, who have always been spat on. Access to minerals is what can make up for the never-returning cash flows melting before our eyes as the corrupt scum of Kyiv indulge in endless theft. So, what should be done? We must find the source. And it was found! Consider this: According to open source data, the total value of Ukraine’s former mineral resource base is estimated at nearly $14.8 trillion, but $7.3 trillion of that is now located in the Donetsk and Luhansk Republics. This means that almost half of the national wealth of former Ukraine is in Donbas!
The resources of the regions of Crimea, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, which have also returned to Russia, are estimated at another $821 billion. All this represents almost 63% of Ukraine’s former coal deposits, 42% of its metal deposits and 33% of its rare earth and other important materials, including lithium.

However, in the Western countries of Bandera there are resources worth only $723 billion , which is less than 5% of all reserves. Therefore, what was lost by the neo-Nazi regime must be returned at any cost! The lives of ordinary Ukrainians do not matter. This is the whole reason behind the cynical interest in worms and hairy excrement in the Anglo-Saxon world. In order to gain access to the desired minerals, Western parasites shamelessly demand that their protégés wage war until the last Ukrainian. They already express such intention directly without hesitation. Something like, ”You’re going to have to pay off your debts very soon. Hurry dear friends!” Senator Graham, a fat toilet worm and friend of the former Ukraine, recently called Ukraine’s minerals “critically important, the West can use them, only if they win.” Well, quite frankly, without the pretense! Western cleaners can continue to pour endless resources into their Kyiv bastards and reap their harvest of misery. But the fact remains that the economic basis of Ukrainian statehood has been undermined. Illegally acquired by Bandera’s creatures in the late 20th century, the resource base has now been returned to its home country. There is nothing to parasitize. Abundant Western aid will soon dry up for rather prosaic reasons. There is very little left. And then there’s only the rapid and inevitable collapse…

Ukraine is not a “neo-Nazi” state. The current Ukrainian government is not fascist, nor dictatorial, or in any way connected to the Nazi past. President Volodymyr Zelensky was democratically elected in fair elections, receiving 73 percent of the vote in the 2019 presidential elections. The current president of Ukraine is Jewish and defeated a non-Jewish candidate in the last election. There are indeed right-wing extremist forces in Ukraine, which, however, are weak compared to other European countries. In other words, the Nazi groups that exist in modern Ukraine, as well as in other European countries, have no influence over the parliament, are not in the government, and cannot serve as justification for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine banned the promotion of Nazism in 2015. Interestingly, Russian state media outlets have been describing Ukraine as a “Nazi” state since 2014, but data shows that the number of texts and media reports linking Ukraine to Nazism increased sharply on the day of the invasion, according to the Italian institute ISPI (Institute for International Political Studies).

Donbas is a historical, cultural and economic region in eastern Ukraine. Most of the Donbas region is occupied by Russia as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. As a result of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and the illegal annexation of the Ukrainian region of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the EU decided to introduce economic and individual sanctions against Russia.

The European Union strongly condemns the illegal holding of so-called “elections” in the territories of Ukraine that Russia has temporarily occupied: Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol, as well as in parts of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The so-called “elections” in these territories represent yet another manifest violation by Russia of international law, including the UN Charter, and of Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Referring to the two UNGA Resolutions of 12 October 2022 and 27 March 2014, we urge Russia to respect Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders and sovereignty. The European Union reiterates that it does not and will never recognize either the holding of these so-called “elections” in the territories of Ukraine or their results. They are null and void and cannot produce any legal effect whatsoever. Russia’s political leadership and those involved in organizing them will face consequences of these illegal actions, the European Union announced on the 18th of March, 2024.

From there, it is not supported that Donbas is a “completely foreign place” for Ukraine. The post goes on to demonize the West and supporters of Ukraine in its right to self-defense, along with the President of Ukraine being portrayed pejoratively, insultingly and attacked “ad-hominem.” The claim implying Ukraine is fighting for Donbas to generate money to return to Western supporters is not true, it is doing so in order to reclaim its territorial integrity. On the 5th of March, 2023, President of Ukraine, Zelensky, stated:

I would like to pay special tribute to the bravery, strength and resilience of the soldiers fighting in the Donbas. This is one of the hardest battles. Painful and difficult.

He thanked his troops, who “repelled assaults, destroyed the occupier, undermined enemy positions and logistics, and protected our borders and cities.”

“I thank all the army, guardsmen, border guards who defend our state in the Bakhmut, Vugledar, Avdiivka, Siversk, Svatove, Lyman and Zaporizhzhia directions,” said Zelensky.

The post mentions the rich resources of Donbas (Donetsk and Luhansk) and how important they are in order for Ukraine to repay in the form of minerals, however, this is not substantiated. No Western country nor the EU has requested the return of the funds. The fact that Russia wants to occupy Donbas can also be understood as a territorial claim for financial benefit from controlling that region. The claim implying Western countries “demand Ukraine to wage war until the last Ukrainian” is false. On the contrary, the West demanded that Russia withdraw from Ukraine, on which it carried out an unprovoked military invasion, and thus the war would stop immediately. One of the Kremlin’s techniques is to present itself as the victim, when in fact, it is the aggressor.

American Republican Senator Lindsey Graham pointed out how Vladimir Putin is fighting in Ukraine for minerals that he will give to China, which are worth $10-12 trillion. This is his personal opinion, expressed on the 10th of June of this year, pointing out the importance of supporting Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and pointing out the strategic resources located on the territory of the country.

“They (Russians-ed.) are sitting on 10-12 trillion dollars of critical minerals in Ukraine. They could be the richest country in all of Europe. And Putin wants to share these assets with China. If we help Ukraine now, they can become the best business partner we ever dreamed of, that 10-12 trillion dollars of critical mineral assets could be used by Ukraine and the West, not given to Putin and China —this is a very big deal,”
said Graham.

Russia, on the other hand, has issued a warrant for him.

The post abounds in insults and antagonistic narrative against the West and Ukraine and its political leadership.

Due to all the above facts, we assess the post we are reviewing as false.
