Bart Somers Is Neither Belgian Health Minister nor Did He Participate In False Vaccination, But In Pre-Vaccination Test

We are reviewing a Facebook post which says that the Belgian Minister of Health “was falsely vaccinated” and the vaccine kills other people.
As part of the post, a video was also published showing a doctor administering a vaccine to Bart Somers, but after removing the needle from his shoulder, the vaccine cannot be seen.
The first disinformation here is that Somers is not the Belgian Minister of Health. He has never been in that position.
At the time of the video, Belgium’s Minister of Health was Frank Vandenbroucke.

To be clear, no vaccines were administered during this trial. If vaccines were given, I would have shouted louder, – he wrote.
The recording was broadcast on the news on VRT television in Belgium and has been the subject of conspiracy theories ever since. Fact-checkers from the Belgian magazine Knack researched the video in March 2021 and wrote:
A simulation was held at the De Kimpel Vaccination Center to prepare medical staff for a smooth running of the vaccination process and campaign as soon as a sufficient number of vaccines arrive. There are about 50 actors and no one is suggesting that real vaccines are actually administered. Minister of Internal Affairs, Bart Somers, also took part in the exercise. Like the other participants, he did not receive the vaccine. So it is not surprising that there is no visible needle on the cap.

Because it was a simulation, i.e. an exercise before the arrival of sufficient quantities of vaccines, in an event in which 50 people participated only to help the medical staff to practice speed on them, to later carry out the vaccination process quickly and efficiently, when real vaccines arrive in Belgium, we assess that it is not true that the Belgian Minister of Health received a fake vaccine. Moreover, Somers is not the Belgian Health Minister.
