The license, published by “MK Denes”, does not belong to the bus with license plates SK 0284 BA, which had a fatal traffic accident on the highway in Bulgaria. That license belongs to another bus, and the company “Besa Trans”, falsely attached the license from another bus in its ownership, to the bus for which they did not have a license

We are reviewing a post on Facebook, in which information is shared from the portal “MK Denes”, according to which the bus of the company “Besa Trans”, in which 45 citizens lost their lives in a terrible accident, had a license and submitted it to the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia when exiting the country.

The certificate from the electronic system in the Customs Administration of Macedonia clearly and unequivocally shows that the so-called “death bus” with license plates SK 0284 BA regularly exited the country, at least 57 times, mostly on the route Skopje – Istanbul and Skopje – Durres and had a LICENSE no. 22679/007017, writes in the article.

The title of the article is “Exclusive document, Bochvarski lied about the bus license”. However, Minister Bochvarski did not lie, but the company “Besa Trans” did, in order to pass the customs control, submitted false documents over 122 times, which did not correspond to the bus, i.e. belonged to another motor vehicle.

Earlier, the Minister of Transport, Blagoj Bochvarski, said that the bus of “Besa Trans” did not have a license certificate for the “death bus”. In the text of “MK Denes”, on the other hand, a document (a license) is shown, from which it could be suspected that there was a license.

However, the truth is that the license published by “MK Denes”, does not belong to the bus with license plates SK 0284 BA, which had a fatal traffic accident on the highway in Bulgaria. That license belongs to another bus, and the company “Besa Trans”, falsely attached the license from another bus in its ownership, to the bus for which they did not have a license.

The license certificate number 22679, which appears in the electronic system of the Customs Administration, and which was used by the “death bus” when leaving the country, is a license certificate number from another vehicle, with other license plates owned by “Besa Trans”, said the Minister of Transport and Communications, Blagoj Bochvarski at a press conference on 26 November 2021 (from 20 minutes to 20 minutes and 26 seconds on the following link).

Then, in 19 minutes and 36 seconds of the video, Bochvarski says:

The transporter neither reported nor requested from the Ministry of Transport and Communications a certificate from the license for the specific bus and therefore it is not registered in the single database.

The Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski stated that the same bus, in 2020, left the Republic of North Macedonia 22 times, and in 2021, crossed the state border 113 times. Both drivers in charge of the trip from Istanbul to Skopje were not employed by the company, but only drove on the route if needed. One of them was driving with an expired international driving license.

Due to the fact that the document, i.e. the excerpt from the vehicle license, published by “MK Denes” is not valid and belongs to another bus, and was fraudulently submitted in order to cross the border, we assess that it is not true that the company “Besa Trans” had a certificate from the license for the burned bus with license plates SK 0284 BA. This bus was not registered at all in the database of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and it traveled without a certificate from a vehicle license.
