It Is Not True That 70 Percent Of The Vaccinated In Israel Got Infected With Covid-19
In Israel, 6,243,281 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 5,738,253 with two doses and 3,973,121 with three doses. So far, 1,331,519 cases have been registered in Israel, which is not 70 percent of any of the above figures, whether those vaccinated with one dose, two doses or three doses. It can be checked on the website of the Ministry of Health of Israel, where there are statistics of active covid cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, with their vaccination status
We are reviewing a Facebook post in which false statistics are presented regarding the percentage of infected people vaccinated in Israel.
The post claims that 70 percent of the vaccinated in Israel became infected with Covid-19, without specifying the period, the time frame, how many doses of the vaccine they have received, etc.
In Israel, 70 percent of the vaccinated got infected with the disease. And all they had to do was stay the way God had created them.
The Israeli Ministry of Health on its website makes a clear distinction between its citizens regarding whether their vaccines are valid, i.e. whether they offer protection, depending on how long ago the citizen received the vaccine. Someone who has been vaccinated only once 9 months ago cannot be considered vaccinated. Israel considers only the citizens with 3 received doses to be fully vaccinated.
In Israel, in September 2021 alone, according to official information from the country’s Ministry of Health, 75 percent of the deceased under the age of 60 have not been vaccinated. Then, 57 percent of those who died over the age of 60 were unvaccinated, 82 percent of the hospitalized in serious health conditions under the age of 60 were unvaccinated, and 62 percent of those hospitalized with a severe clinical picture over the age of 60 were unvaccinated. In September, 37 children under the age of 18 were hospitalized with Covid-19 or Covid-19 complications, and 6 of them were in serious health conditions. In September, 39 patients were placed on a respirator, and 33 of them were not vaccinated.
The website of the Ministry of Health of Israel has statistics of active Covid cases per 100,000 inhabitants, with their vaccine status.
The data (until 5 November 2021), seen in absolute numbers, show that at the age of 12 to 15 years, there are 452 unvaccinated positive and 58 immunized positive per 100,000 inhabitants.
Between the ages of 16 and 19, there are 184 unvaccinated positive and 45 immunized positive and 67 with expired vaccination positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Between the ages of 20 and 29, there are 384 unvaccinated positive, 92 vaccinated positive and 184 with expired vaccination positive patients per 100,000 inhabitants.
At the age of 30 to 39, per 100,000 inhabitants there are 421 unvaccinated who are Covid-19 positive, 154 vaccinated who are positive and 216 with expired vaccination who are positive.
Between the ages of 40 and 49, there are 324 unvaccinated positive per 100,000 inhabitants, 152 with expired vaccination who are positive, and 122 vaccinated positive cases.
At the age of 50 to 59, per 100,000 inhabitants there are 184 unvaccinated positive, 53 vaccinated and positive and 63 which are positive.
At the age of 60 to 69, per 100,000 inhabitants, there are 127 unvaccinated and positive, 59 vaccinated and positive, 51 positive with expired vaccination.
At the age of 70 to 79, per 100,000 inhabitants there are 77 unvaccinated and positive, 52 vaccinated and positive and 24 positive cases with expired vaccination.
Between the ages of 80 and 89, there are 44 unvaccinated positive, 41 vaccinated positive and 11 positive cases with expired vaccination per 100,000 inhabitants.
At the age of over 90, per 100,000 inhabitants, there are 11 unvaccinated and positive, 7 vaccinated and positive and 5 positive cases with expired vaccination.
From this statistic, it is evident that most of the positives are unvaccinated or persons whose vaccine has expired because it has been a long time since the second dose. And various medical professionals, who describe the situation in Israel, explain that there is something like fading of the effect of the vaccine and revaccination is required.
Unvaccinated Israelis account for over 75 percent of new Covid-19 cases over the past week, according to data from the Israeli Ministry of Health. Of the 5,084 new cases registered in the past seven days, 3,902 were unvaccinated Israelis, who account for 15 percent of the population that can be vaccinated. However, currently in Israel, there is the lowest rate of Covid-19 positive – only 0.88 percent of the tested.
And in September, 17 percent of unvaccinated Israelis accounted for 65 percent of all new confirmed cases in the country! Per capita, for every death of an Israeli over the age of 60 who received a booster dose, there were 15 deaths among unvaccinated Israelis in the same age group!
Although positive cases of Covid-19 occur in the vaccinated as well, Covid-19 is still becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated in this country. And the number of the seriously ill is the highest among the unvaccinated. On 13 September, out of 664 patients with a severe clinical picture in Israel, 437 were completely unvaccinated and only 168 received 2 doses.
The post we are reviewing claims that 70 percent of those vaccinated became infected with Covid-19.
In Israel, 6,243,281 people have been vaccinated with 1 dose, 5,738,253 with 2 doses and 3,973,121 with 3 doses.
So far, 1,331,519 cases have been registered in Israel, which is not 70 percent of any of the above figures, whether those vaccinated with 1, 2, or 3 doses. In these 1,331, 519 cases that Israel has had since the beginning of the pandemic until today, there are completely unvaccinated people and we do not even calculate that percentage.
Taking into account all of the above, we assess that it is not true that 70 percent of the vaccinated in Israel became infected with Covid-19.
