We are fact-checking a post on Facebook sharing a photograph of a quintuple bus in Russia.

“Russian quintuple-decker bus 👌”, the post says.

A Google reverse image search on public transportation buses in Russia did not yield any photos of quintuple-decker buses commuting on Russian streets.

According to the available information on Google, public transportation buses in Russia are mostly in blue or green-white colors.

A red double-decker bus was used, for example, in Moscow for tourist tours. Based on its design, it did not resemble the one depicted in the post fact-checked.

A quintuple-decker bus shown in the post, as in the photograph below, was found on Reddit. The photograph was created with the Bing Image Creator tool, as it was clearly stated in the original post. Bing Image Creator is an AI-generative tool for creating photos from written prompts.

In addition to the quintuple-decker bus, the creator of this photograph has also published other models of similar buses created with the help of artificial intelligence.

Thus, it can be concluded that the quintuple-decker bus shown in the post fact-checked has nothing to do with Russia. It is the product of artificial intelligence, created with the help of the Bing Image Creator tool, as clearly stated on Reddit, where this photograph was posted. Therefore, we assess the post as untrue.
