The object owned by Fijat Canoski was demolished as the former Prime Minister planned and ordered. The executors of this plot are the then Minister of transport and communications, the mayor of Gazi Baba Municipality and the municipal inspector who signed the decision on demolition

21 April 2016 – This investigation is about acts perpetrated because of vengeance, foremost provoked by political discrimination, stated the special prosecutor Katica Janeva.

Former lawmaker in the Parliament of the RM and a businessman, Fijat Canoski, was the victim in the demolition process of his residential and commercial property of great value, “Cosmos”.

The demolition of “Cosmos” began in August 2011. It was supposed to be a student dormitory built next to the university owned by the injured Canoski and his companies, and according to the investor’s claims, the material damage is worth nearly 60 million euro.

Here’s what the prosecutor Fatime Fetai stated during the presentation of the investigation

Namely, the obtained exhibits provide space for justified suspicion that in the period from 1 May 2011 to 17 August 2011, in Skopje, the then President of the government of the RM and president of the political party VMRO-DPMNE and the then Minister of transport and communications in the government of the RM, who were pardoned by the President of the Republic of Macedonia with the Decision no. 08-523/1 from 12 April 2016, with the aim to take revenge on the injured Fijat Canoski because of his political decision, made as a president of the political party PEI, to leave the coalition with the political party VMRO-DPMNE and to coalesce with the opposition political party SDSM, jointly used their political power and intentionally incited the mayor of Gazi Baba Municipality, candidate of the political party VMRO-DPMNE and pardoned by the President of the Republic of Macedonia with the Decision no. 08-523/1 from 12 April 2016, to perpetrate an offence i.e. to abuse his office and to find a way to illegally demolish the residential and commercial property “Cosmos”, being built by the injured-investor TD “FINE” DOO Skopje and the contractor “COSMOS ENGINEERING” DOOEL Skopje, general partnership companies owned by the injured Fijat Canoski….
